November

Not many people's favourite month I'd guess.  It's been a decidedly grey one here, today the latest in the sequence.  we're promised something brighter and colder next week.   White stuff on the tops.

Another wander at Rhydyronen this afternoon for Meg and I.   A  little earlier start and we went up the lane, into the hills, a route I've trodden many times over half a century.  Here's a shot from a few years ago.

A disjointed kind of day.  Jamie had pain late in the night, the same as before he had his gallbladder removed.   An early start for me, thankfully the pain eased.   Having spent morning with Jamie and chilled for a bit at home, not much else got done.   I did look at ordering some new Hot Water Plant rhizomes from a specialist in Germany.   Thanks to Brexit, the hoops that have to be jumped through are complex and expensive so I'm not sure it's even possible.   Pre Brexit it was as simple as ordering from somewhere in the UK.   Grrr :-(
