Tarn Hows

As we are competing tomorrow and the forecast weather was due to deteriorate into the afternoon we decided on a trip and a wander around Tarn Hows. Really enjoyed our walk as it’s been a while since we have been here.

We were there early enough to find parking before the crowds built up late morning. Although most people stuck to the well surfaced path I couldn’t resist going off piste to get some alternative views. Quite a few photos were taken. However I liked this more elevated view with a glimpse of some sun on the far fells.
