Tanking it!

A ride to Ripon this morning for some orienteering on an army training area. Army exercises were in progress as a group arrived in the car park carrying a casualty (dummy)! A bit disconcerting as guns pointed out in our direction to protect the victim.

Warnings at the start to avoid any metal objects. As you can imagine there was lots of surface water and mud on the open areas used for training.

The military were also competing in their own orienteering competition. The photo shows one of the military competitors running past this sorry looking tank complete with a tree growing out of it.
