M.O.T 2021 Day 3

More deer sightings outside our lodge window this morning :-)
We headed off to Beaulieu, passing through Brockenhurst, smack bang in the middle of the village we noticed a Ferrari showroom. Not everyday you see one of those ... We were a tad surprised but did'nt stop to browse. Parked in Beaulieu village then walked to Buckler's Hard, unfortunately the waterside path has been closed off for land regeneration which was a pity as it would have been interesting. A decent walk with a pit stop at our destination. Plenty of sea birds out on the estuary but too far for a good look.
After returning to our car, we headed for Blashford Lakes in the hope of seeing a possible murmuration. It was chilly, the walk beside the lake was CLOSED. The nature reserve car park closing at 4.30. We parked outside the gate and re-entered and made it to a viewing platform, but the starlings were dropping down away in the distance so nothing much to see. Back at the lodge, liquid refreshments flowed. Andria had made a veg chilli which we ate with basmati rice, followed by individual shop bought Victoria sponges, cute, with dairy free cream.
Sandy then produced her craft bag of bits. We made origami stars with some funky paper she had purchased in The Range .. fun :-)
Back blip :-)
