Getting the sparkle back

Old Town, Edinburgh

A view from Princes Street Gardens over to three different levels of buildings in Edinburgh's Old Town. Lowest level is Market Street, highest level is the High Street on the Royal Mile (where St Giles' Cathedral is with its crown) and the middle level must be up a close from Cockburn Street (the street curving upwards on the left of the picture). I will need to go exploring there sometime to check it out. I hadn't been into the centre of Edinburgh for ages so it was a good excuse to have a wander after meeting my friend A for a coffee and a scone at Porto and Fi's on the Mound.
