More birds

Spent a long time in the reserve this morning and went round the circuit twice.  Very cold but so beautiful.  Bumped into a friend just by the entrance and also had a lengthy chat with a very knowledgeable guy who's an admin for a local wildlife group.  That was interesting.  The general consensus seems to be that the roe deer are currently elsewhere.  This morning, so was everything else!

However, here are two birds, this rather jumpy-looking blackbird, who I liked, and in Extras the cygnet I blipped in the week.  Between then and now s/he's been pushed out by the parent birds, so this shot could be titled, Flying off in search of a new life.  ;-D
