AMARO GARDEN

Fairly clear that the second word is meant to be "Gardens" but alas I can not fathom the first word.  I'm guessing Amaroo, named after a car racing circuit in Western Sydney called "Amaroo Park" that opened in 1967.  The flats were probably built shortly after that time.  The lettering appears to to have outlasted the race track.

Ellie injured herself last night running around (recurring injury) so we walked around unfamiliar territory in order to get some variety.  Most of the accommodation to the east of the main Dee Why shops are blocks of flats (like this one).  We saw two houses tonight - so that's about 99% flats - great fun finding a parking spot if you're a local.
