Making a Start

Mike digging out the hole for the base of our new, proper water tank, which will be on a stand and therefore higher (more pressure) and larger (less vulnerable in case of fire fighting or lack of electricity to pump).

At 2pm, we answered questions on Zoom about a video we made last year for Allegra's class, from the new Reception class, with Allegra in attendance. Apparently, we were given chocolates as a thank-you, which Allegra and Zion (and Deb, probably) ate on the way home from school.

We were given chocolates last night as a thank-you from Guillaume for using our caravan, but he's found somewhere more convenient to stay from now on (our access isn't good for posh cars).

Gratefuls:
- making a start on sorting all our bedding, though I really haven't mastered Marie Kondo's folding method, which is frustrating
- planting my new yellow rose bush (yesterday, actually, but forgot to say), which involved Mike breaking up a rock with the crowbar
- still no Covid symptoms; we'll take a test tomorrow, and C & E not too ill so far, though one lady (unvaccinated) had to go to hospital of the six or so that have tested positive
