Playing Trains with Mummy

The family furniture et al finally (hopefully!!) arrives this weekend.  It started out in a container from the US and has taken over three months to cross the pond and navigate British customs.  Today has been a preparation day for its arrival with much clearing of space and big cleaning, more tomorrow.

We took a break for lunch at a local vegan cafe and I enjoyed a delicious Forager's Brunch - wild, creamed mushrooms, kale and tomatoes on sourdough, totally yummy.  That's one of the attractions of Oxford that it is able to support lots of small, independent businesses.

Then it was back to Vaxing the bedroom carpet whilst Tony prepared dinner before we set out to collect Euan from nursery.  He was very tired today so there was some element of keeping him going until bath and bedtime.

Now we are all shattered and I think it will be early nights!

We were all a bit disappointed that Chigs did not win GBBO.  Christel was very unlucky with her focaccia too.
