Over 35 years old!

Today when lighting a scented candle I looked more closely at the big box of matches to see what the free salt and pepper mill was all about! On the back of the box it said you had to collect 5 labels from the box and send off before December 31st 1985!!! So we have had this box for over 35 years…and must have brought it from our other house when we moved! 
I then checked the other big box with long matches that we have and that is dated 1997. It just shows how little we use matches these days…I think we only use  them for occasional candles and for fireworks/ sparklers. We used to have bonfires at the allotment but that is not allowed any more.
