Friday treat

Every Friday (with the occasional exception) is a fun-filled frolicking Friday in our house. It starts with either a g&t or a cocktail and this week it was a “Serenade”, a combination of rum, amaretto, coconut cream and pineapple juice and was very tasty. After our meal (on the menu today was home-made fish and chips with pollack from the freezer) we watch a film. This week’s was “The Good Liar”, a very enjoyable one with unexpected twists, starring Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen. 
We are safely tucked into our sheltered little corner of the island but thinking of those who are experiencing storm Arwen, I hope you are all safe.
