Colourful “hinges”

There wasn’t much colour about first thing this morning as the weather was very dull (verging on dark), wet and windy and I thought that my blip was going to have to be a mono of some bare trees, until I came across these two gates. I don’t often enter any of the challenges but when I saw these I thought that they would be ideal from the Derelict Sunday challenge. Some Blippers might think that I am trying to find favour with this month’s DS host, 60plus, knowing her love of gates, but nothing could be further from the truth. I just loved their pink and yellow string hinges which brightened up my morning.
