Dodgems

The little fair is back in town with its battered old trucks, dodgems and a ride for kiddies. I walked back after bell ringing via the square wondering if anyone would be there given how cold it was. At least there were a few people there so I could get my blip for the day. One of our ringers was pinged today so could not come and a couple of other people decided not to attend as they are shortly to travel back to the UK. This was a bit of a shame for our visiting ringers who were not able to ring quite as many interesting methods as they might otherwise have been able to. Earlier we had lunch with friends so will not need to cook tonight. The news has just come in that we will need PCR tests on our return to the UK and will have to self isolate until we get the results. This has upset our travel plans as the results may not come back in time to allow oneard travel to family.
