Storm Arwen

 Photo: woke up this morning to see the first snow of the season on The Trossachs.
 
After Storm Arwen barrelled through the night with winds up to 90 mph in some parts of Scotland the first job this morning was to inspect the damage in the garden. There was plenty to see.
 
Half the pergola lay on its side, the garden shed has blown over, two sections of patio fencing are broken, and several branches from the Douglas fir litter the lawn.
It could have been worse, a lot worse. Several neighbours had trees down.
  A couple of hours work on both our parts did restore some order to the place though we are going to need some professional help to restore the pergola and fencing.
