(329) Museum of Liverpool

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to visit the museum, mainly because I spent longer than intended exploring the cathedral and the area around it. The extra is a multi-frame composite view from St.James park which sits to the north of the Anglican cathedral.
The area that is now the park was originally a quarry which later became a cemetery, both of which predate the cathedral. In the late 1960's the cemetery was considered to be full and plans were made to turn the area into a public park. Gravestones were 'recycled' and are now placed around the park and line the paths throughout.
