Painful

I worked from home today as I had a 4pm appointment with the nurse for an appointment/procedure I never look forward to and always try to avoid.

Anyway. I went. The nurse was so presumptive in her heteronormative attitudes I was pissed off before we even began.

Two painful attempts later we abandoned the whole thing.
She told me to try again in
February. I won’t be doing anything of the sort. Never again.

I felt like I’d been assaulted.
