RiverWalk Walk

When I took Myles out for his constitutional at around noon, the weather was beautiful with a light breeze.  One advantage of living in a one bedroom apartment is that there is very little to do - cleaning is quick and easy, there are no "projects" to be done or maintenance so we have a lot of spare time.  We took full advantage and went downtown to the Cape Fear River where there are restaurants, some little artisan shops and a nice stroll along the river.  Nearly 5000 steps later (for these knees) and some fresh air, we headed home for more holiday catch up phone calls.  

Thank you all for your good wishes for Ben.  He'll be glad the weekend is over and he can get back to the task at hand, looking for work and getting back on his feet.
