Casualty

This tree in one of many not to survive the gale last night. It has been removed from the road and the branches cut off.

Although not apparent here quieter roads have a layer of frozen snow and ice, and so are not particularly pleasant to walk on.

Cosmo is a little indignant as the fallen tree is blocking her way.
