A walking day

It was a warm, humid day - definitely T-shirts and shorts weather.  We walked with our Tuesday morning group this morning, the first time we were officially back together as a group.  Then, late afternoon we joined 5 others from our Auckland Joggers walking pack and went for a brisk, mostly flat walk.  My leg held up reasonably well, but it was getting a tad painful towards the end of the almost 8km walk. Very satisfying, though.

As we walked along Buckley Road in Epsom we saw this wonderful Bougainvillea, so I stopped and quickly took a photo for today’s blip.

It’s Day 21 of Level 3 Step 2, and there are 134 new community cases - 116 in Auckland, 1 in Northland, 8 in the Waikato and 9 in the Bay of Plenty.
