Hasn't this month flown by!

This is St Andrew''s Day and I considered blipping the large Saltire flag that neighbours always fly on such occasions but that would mean missing the Angela Harding calendar for this month.

Entitled Winter Fox, she states F'oxes are a common sight in Rutland, I love their catlike form as they trot with grace across the fields. 'Winter Fox' was originally commissioned by Faber & Faber to illustrate the poem 'Thought Fox' by Ted Hughes.


Coming from the county-next-door I can only state how pleased I am that by law this beautiful creature is no longer hunted to death by a pack of their cousins and humans riding totally indifferent animals.
