A survivor
Well the snow has all gone, but it finished off the alstroemeria and the fuchsias.
However the new lavender which I planted in late summer was trying to flower for the second time. I decided to cut it and bring the buds inside. The tiny vase belong to my mum. Not sure if they will last but they provided me with a blip for Tiny Tuesday.
Although the temperature reached 10C it felt cold and damp. Lights on in the house most of the day
The electrician came to finish off the wiring for the shower.
Just a slight problem with the bath, but hopefully it can be sorted.
Then to our son and daughter-in - law’s for tea.
A very tasty meat loaf ( her specialty) followed by a delicious lemon and mango sponge pudding. Certainly felt very full when we had finished.
Thank you Sarah for a wonderful meal we both enjoyed and the company.
Son and grandson now at Leeds United.
Finger’s crossed!
Tomorrow we have a ‘ free’ day as the plumbers aren’t back until Thursday.
