Life through the lens...

The arched window.

An early morning again as the plumbers were coming to continue with the bathroom.
However because of the weather they didn’t reach us until 9am.
However it meant that we saw the beautiful sunrise. Looking in the other direction I saw the reflection in our neighbour’s window, and as I was taking a photo a blackbird landed on the fence.
Their house used to be the old coach house, and the builders kept some of the interesting features. An upside down house. This is the bedroom window.

Temp. -3C. The car was iced over and took a while to defrost. Our lane was treacherous, but fortunately the main roads were clear. Not a lot of traffic about.

We went to order a new cooker, and then to buy some more light bulbs.
Unfortunately our coffee/sandwich stop was closed, so came back home.

After lunch went to pickup the tiles.
Fortunately they loaded them into the car for us, and then before the plumbers left they unloaded them and took them upstairs ready for the tiler coming next Monday.
The bathroom is gradually taking shape, and at least we can use the bath.
I had a lovely long soak in it last night.

It seems to be slowly thawing at the moment.
Just thawing out myself as the door and windows have been open all day.
So glad we have the wood burner.
