I popped into the revamped Stirling university campus this afternoon to check out the new building now known as Campus Central.
It’s a stunning piece of architecture- modern, welcoming and spacious .
What’s more the Macrobert Arts centre now blends seamlessly into the new structure.
This is what they say about it:
“Campus Central will be the dynamic heart and the social core of the University, encouraging connections and engagement across our communities.
“The new three-storey building and landscaping works will house the Student Services Hub, the Macrobert Arts Centre’s box office, the Institute for Advanced Studies and an increased amount of study and social, flexible and modern, digitally connected spaces for the University community, in an inspiring building that creates a heart to the campus.”
Already considered to be the most beautiful campus in Europe, this imaginative development will certainly add even more to its prestige.
It makes me wish I was a student again.
