Lavender's blue, dilly dilly

A dreary day weather-wise although  milder than yesterday.
Following doctor's orders to rest my troublesome  knee, I caught up with  some email correspondence and made two long phone calls to friends who have both been very unwell. M is feeling much better but P is still ailing, so I have promised a visit before  too long. It made my knee problem seem quite trivial, but it  has really made me appreciate the saying that it is all too easy to take  our health for granted, until we don't have it.
This evening I made  up some lavender bags for little Christmas gifts. I cheated by buying the net bags, but the  lavender  was grown in  my garden.
