Round and Round

Up town for Christmas shopping. Harvey Nicks. That’s the only place I wanted to go. Fifty quids worth of Christmas foodie treats will do them. As long as they have Harvey Nicks branding. Of course, one or two treats for ourselves found their way in there too.
Later, got to pick the wee thing up from nursery, from where I birrled her over to the park for a good play session. She did a bit of birrling herself. Then back to coorie in as it was a bit of a dreich old day out. New words! Milk! (pronounced milch with ch as in loch).
And it was St Andrews Day. A recent re-introduction after a few hundred years of presbyterianism, with the intention on rivalling St Paddy’s annual panto. We have a haggis and a dram and watch Succession. I guess no one’s quite sure what to do with it. Moving it to midsummer would get my vote.
