Family Outing

Mell Square, Solihull. Trips here are rare for us but often lead to adventures. The sculpture is indeed called 'Family Outing' and was created by sculptor John Ravera in 1985. I can't find out much more than that other than the fact that there is also a 'Family Outing' in Bexleyheath and the wiki reference to that one credits 'local artist' John Ravera. So, if one of these is a copy, my money is the Solihull exhibit. Actually, I did find something else out. Apparently the man is Mr G. Brazier of Bexleyheath. On a photographical note, I'm pleased with this because I managed obscure the big, white distracting Costa sign with one of the figures.
