Birthday Cake

Today is Jean's birthday with a zero at the end! We're both impressed!
We had a delicious meal out in a Chinese restaurant downtown and this is the cake I made this morning: Kirsch-flavoured chocolate almond, decorated with dark chocolate squares. We'll  be eating a slice of cake when the melted chocolate topping has set!

When we came home it was snowing sideways!
