Sunset near Chichester

We were travelling back from home group this afternoon when we saw this lovely sunset.  We were very encouraged that it only took five minutes more to get to Bognor from our new house - and the roads were generally less clogged.  We did take the more country route back,  though we rejoined the A27 with very little hold-up.

The plumber had finally turned up over lunch-time today and cleared an immense blockage in the pipes leading from the sink to the drain. We still managed to get away at a reasonable time for home group.

We also had to replace the old doorbell today.  We worked out that it must have been installed when the house was built in the 70’s as the wires to the ringing mechanism went through the wall!  So it’s back to the corny tunes from our plug-in ringers which we brought from the last house!
