Ugandan Taxi!

This batik shows a typical Ugandan form of transport! The passenger, if female, will sit side-saddle on the pillion, as her traditional dress is full length, and it is impossible to ride astride the back saddle. This is also the method used for ‘bicycle taxis’ - the cheapest method of public transport in Kampala!
