Shadows!

The sun was shining but there was a nip in the air when we went out for a walk this afternoon. The trees have all lost their leaves and the trees and the ground below them looks uniformly brown! The farmer has cleared all the long grass and it is really pleasant walking round the fields now - the wheat (probably!) has even begun to grow, snd should continue to flourish in spite of the low winter temperature. It was a lovely walk round the fields today!
