Another Christmas Fair

My swimming friend Ann is also an avid spinner. Here she is at Crosthwaite village Christmas fair, spinning that great sack of local wool and holding up one of the sheep that she knits with the wool. Crosthwaite has been given a generator because they have a school , I was interested to see it comes from the Isle of Man- extra.
In our hamlet, there is no change . 3 of us have intermittent power, although thank goodness it's more on than off now. The other 6 residences have had no power at all since last Friday. They are fed up. No sign of Openreach repairing the broadband cable, they sent a text to say sorry for the delay.
