A Chilly Swim

Mr P wimped out this morning because he said it was going to be sleeting.  I took this picture to prove to him that it was bright and  sunny only it does appear to be sleeting  raining at this very moment, which is disappointing because now he will not believe me.
On the whole it was dry, perhaps a little chilly with water temperature of  8°C but that was warmer than the air.   It was Tony's ( in red on the jetty) birthday, 2 of us had taken along cake which was eagerly consumed when we came out and then it was so dry we decided to troop off to Harry's Bar for breakfast,  now its open again and we can sit outside in groups of 6. Tony was pleased. He in his 70s, lives with his cat and if we had not joined him for breakfast he would have had a lonely birthday -  with his cat.
