Storm 87?

Spent a day out with my old conservation chums on Southborough Common.  They were clearing a very steep, unfriendly site that didn't seem to be have been cleared since 1987, the Year of The Great Storm, when this old tree probably came down and after which it got covered in brambles and bracken. . Good to see lots of new volunteers, but no women. I hope me leaving has not impacted that.
