It’s beginning to feel like Christmas

Early start as covid booster appointment at 9:50 and a forty minute walk away. Took Hetty out and picked up a paper before breakfast and then we allowed 50 minutes to get to centre as weren’t 100% sure where it was. It took us 30 minutes and they let us straight in, so vaccine and 15 minute wait and still on our way by our appointment time. Went for a coffee then walked home picking up a bit of food shopping. After lunch I made mince pies and hubby soaked the cranberries in gin ready for jam making tomorrow. We also managed to defrost the freezer, do a wash and cook dinner. Delivered some pies to daughters while out walking Hetty. By the time I sat down to watch a bit of tv I felt really tired, plus my arm is really painful from the injection. I had quite a bad reaction to the second vaccine but so far only a sore arm with this one.
We forgot the advent candle and chocolate calendar so caught up tonight.
