A Roadside Find

I found this jaw bone, along with many other bones, along the side the road not far from my house.  It is from a deer.  In all my years of living here, over 26, I have never come across bones laid out so close to the road.  These are rather old ones, weathered and white.  It seemed such an odd thing to see.  You just never know what you will discover when you take a walk.  I took the jaw bone home to add to my window sill collection of found objects.
