Grasmere in the rain.

The morning was very dark with rain and sleet. It brightened around midday so I drove to Grasmere, bought a few Christmas presents and got some essentials from the Co-op. The surrounding fells looked lovely with  snow.

After putting the shopping in the car I set off along the riverside footpath but the weather changed so I headed back, grabbing a blip on the way.
