Evening light

My friend arrived today so we’ve been catching up. We went for a lovely , if cold and windy walk in the nature reserve just as the sun was going down. It’s so nice to have her here. Over the last year she has lost both parents and her beloved husband. We met when we were 13 and both new girls in second year high school. We have remained close friends ever since.
