Caught

The day has been bookended by rain.  In the middle we had a glorious day but the humidity is shocking.  Poor Hamish is really feeling it, I will have to get some chicken ice cubes ready for him.

After the rain this morning a small orb spiderweb (only about 10 cm in diameter) was covered in tiny droplets.  I did try focus stacking this but even so, the web must have been too bendy or I was at the wrong angle and I wasn't happy with the result so I have gone for an image where this poor aphid, perhaps, or fly was caught.   There is a euphorbia behind it which is where the yellow is coming from.
