NZ Autumn 2024

By AndrewNZ

A riding day today heading to St Arnaud (160 kms/100 miles round trip) for lunch a a couple of Blips at Lake Rotoiti where there was even a brave soul taking the plunge into the lake. The eels in the lake were not playing ball and stayed under the jetty although one is visible in the main Blip.
I liked the reflection of the jetty's piles and vista down the lake it's pretty wild around the lake edges and difficult tramping to get there other than by boat.
The Extra shows the lake overflowing into the car park and the lunatic taking the plunge. There's also a glimpse of the last of the winter snow.
