Water Everywhere

I did get out for a walk this morning and although it wasn’t actually raining there was a lot of water lying around - and a lot of mud too.

I tried to position myself so that I could get some of the tree reflected in the puddle - but I really couldn’t get much lower as I was sinking! I didn’t want to kneel down as I would have got soaked. You can also see the tractor tyre ruts filled with water…..

There was also an unexpected ‘flood’ at the top of the village - there was a burst water main and water was streaming out of an cover (see extra) and running down the hill into the village centre! Plenty of Yorkshire Water vans with a workforce on hand to sort it out!
