Whooper Swan

There were a lot of mute swans on the Peedie Sea and I overlooked the presence of three whooper swans among them, until I heard  some rather plaintive honking, as if the whoopers were complaining at being overlooked. Lots of other winter visitors there- wigeons and goldeneye among the resident mallards etc
