The owl has landed!

I collected my special birthday present today. Having happened in a Covid year it arrived 13 months late but is both splendid and special. The wooden fork handle has to be oiled to protect it from the weather before it can be sited in the garden, but given how cold the wind is today I expect it will be pleased to be inside for a few days.
After two successive days driving up and down the motorway I am pleased that tomorrow I will only be going into Sheffield.
