Pippingford

The trip to the computer shop (today's back blip here) meant that the spaniel and I set off rather late for the afternoon walk and almost got caught out when the sun set over Pippingford Park with still a mile or so to go. Pippingford Park is used by the British Army for basic training. I think that officer cadets from Sandhurst still  undertake their first night navigation exercises here. Fortunately we know the way, even in the dark.

PS In case you are wondering, we were never inside the MOD training area. We just had the view across it.
