Mixed Bag

I spotted a few snowflakes early before the freezing rain started, and that’s what it’s been doing all morning. Finally, at midday, the temperature is creeping up towards the freezing mark which should give us rain before dark. Fingers crossed the temps remain above freezing overnight or we’ll have an icy mess in the morning. Why can’t it be snow? • The burning bush was especially pretty covered in a glistening layer of ice, but now those once frozen drips are beginning to melt. Drip, drip, drip • We’re inside listening to seasonal music, writing a few cards, and watching the kitties snooze. Think they’re dreaming of dancing sardines or catnip covered mice?
