A Day In The Life

Boys In The Trees

A tree service has been in our area for a week trimming branches out of the way of electrical lines. Today was our street’s turn. One worker rode the bucket on high while the other picked up all of the unwanted branches from the ground before feeding them through the chipping machine attached to the back of their truck. A very efficient operation and fun to watch • I cut up four apples and placed them in a pile near the cherry tree in hopes Frida Fox stops by. She did eat two cans of cat food I set out yesterday. Tomorrow when we shop I’ll pick up more things to offer her. Thank you for your concerns and for sharing all of your ideas. Keep her in your thoughts, please • One of our cats, Grouch, has a vet appointment later this afternoon to catch up on all of his annual shots. He’s the one we dread taking as he bites when he’s threatened, and being removed from his environment is threatening. Even the vet doesn’t like dealing with him, thus the reason we get one “happy” pill for him to take with a little food an hour before his appointment, aka Kitty Valium. That “time” is fast approaching…wish me luck!
