No Ball

The bowling is probably wide, the link to “festive” is tenuous, but as an Australian Boxing Day tradition is to watch the test match on TV, cricket does have a festive feel to it.
Following an afternoon Christmas drink with friends, we went to help with the kids cricket but as per usual on Wednesday afternoons a heavy shower coincided with the start time and it was called off.
So some of them went down to the nets by which time the sun had come out and they practised for the rest of the afternoon.
