Champagne “ Pop”!

A beautiful sunny walk down to the village and back for our Christmas treat to ourselves.
Lunch at Grand Cru.

You can just see our waitress opening the bottle of champagne for my Bellini cocktail.
Mr C had his usual Black Sheep bitter.

What a very relaxing lunch.
Beautiful setting. Lovely staff. Laidback atmosphere. Subtle background Christmas music. Piano and jazzy quartet.
Food delicious as always.
Decided on the Christmas menu of smoked salmon and prawn roulade, followed by Turkey and all the trimmings, and Christmas pudding to finish.
A glass of red wine with the turkey and a sweet wine with the pud.
Fortunately hadn’t far to walk home, and the fresh air did us good, although Mr C is now fast asleep on the sofa!
