Life through the lens...

Look through any window

Favourite song by The Hollies.

Sat on the sofa having a cuppa, this is my view looking through one of the lounge windows.
Nice to see the holly tree decorated with Christmas lights.
The last time I blipped this view was on 22nd October. It looked quite different then.

We started the day with a trip to Pinderfields Hospital for MrC to have another injection into his left eye. They were running a little behind, as it seemed most people had arrived early, including us. All wondering if the nurses would be on strike. However everyone was working as normal and the hospital wasn’t effected.
Many thanks to them all.

We stopped off at the open air market in Birstall to visit the fish van. There is always a queue even at 8.30am but by 11.30am it was even longer and when we joined it we were number 10. As we were chatting to others we all agreed it was worth the wait. Stuart works as quick as he can, but it takes time, especially if someone wants the fish skinning etc.
Glad the sun was shining as it was certainly cold. One kind customer brought Stuart a coffee, and he jokingly said. “ Well that’s it. Just going for a 10mins break!” Of course he didn’t.
We have just had the salmon fish cakes for tea , delicious, and tomorrow we will have the cod in a fish curry.

Another glorious sunny day. Temp reached 4C.
