to eat and enjoy - or in this case - you can only stare - at them since - i’ve colored them - but you get the idea - the holidays are also - meant for over indulging - just a bit or 2

i always looked forward - to the days - right before my mama - would gather with her - girlfriends for coffee - she’d suddenly pull out - sugar, flour, butter and eggs - sift through her recipes - get all organized and focused - because typically she never - really baked anything - except over the holidays - then all bets were off - and she was willing - to try most anything - knowing at the cookie exchange - she’d be bringing back - a lot of scrumptiousness - to make it…
