In need of Repair Shop

Banana muffins made and in to the freezer after breakfast.

It was friend C's birthday today so I popped round with a card and present.  For various reasons we haven't been in each other's company for several weeks so it was good to sit out in her garden and catch up awhile.

Neighbour Pete knocked on the door just after lunch to help us get the doll's house down from the loft.  My Dad made this for the girls when they were young and they spent hours playing with it.  He fixed it up with electric lights and it has a lift, and a swimming pool on the roof.  Dad was an architectural technician and he was very precise in his planning and creation.  Sadly, the dolls house has not fared well after years of play and then being stored in the loft.  Thankfully, local joiner and all round star Robert is going to work his magic on it so that it will be fit for Euan to play with.

Hobbler Bev was in touch to see if I wanted to run during daylight so we did a circuit of the Moor which was good fun, if a bit muddy in places.
